In 1982, Susan and her family relocated to the Far East where Susan’s interest in jewellery design and retail began.

 

During a visit to Thailand in 1985, Susan met one of Asia's leading jewellery designers who ignited a spark within Susan to launch a business involved in the design and importation of high end jewellery pieces. And so the Susan Malcolm Collection was born.

 

When Susan and her family returned to North America, Susan launched a retail presence in Southern Connecticut featuring high end, imported precious stones and finished jewellery.

 

Upon returning to Canada almost 20 years ago, Susan relocated her business to Toronto and today offers her exclusive designs and custom made pieces to a sophisticated market. The Susan Malcolm Collection’s white boxes and distinctive black label are now a well recognized symbol of elegance and good taste.

 

Susan's entire family is involved in the business in one way or another. Her and her team continue to expand the business and on-hand collection. Many of the stones used in her collection have been acquired during continued travels to Europe, South America and the Far East.
